F.A.Q

How long have you been a Photographer?

From the age of about 7 my mum always said I had a camera in my hand, so as long as I can remember I have had a love for photography. I spent a few years doing fashion and beauty photography before being asked to photograph a friends wedding about 6 years, since then I have been hooked.

How many photos will I receive?

I aim to provide you with around 500 fully edited images via the online gallery and USB. I always supply these in both colour and black and white. This will vary a little depending on wedding size and weather.

When will I receive my photos?

I always aim to have your wedding photos ready within 4 weeks from your wedding date. This will be sent to you via email so you can share them with your friends and family.

Who owns the copyright of the photos?

The copyright always remains with the photographer but I licence my clients with the right to use the images in anyway you wish, the only thing is you can not re-sell them.

Will you travel?

I am a wedding photographer based in Essex but I love to travel all over the UK and internationally for destination weddings such as France, Italy, Spain.

How do you book?

If we can I always like to meet couples in person as it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other, although this isn’t always possible so we can have a skype meeting as well. If you decide you would like me photograph your wedding I require a 10% deposit to secure your date.

What are your rates?

I charge £1600 for the full day, this includes travel within 3 hours, however if your wedding is a little further away or is a destination wedding I will happily provide a personalised quote for this.

Do I have to pose for photos?

Absolutely not, when its time for the couple photos we will go for a little wander around the grounds and keep it super relaxed. This is also a great moment on your wedding day for you both to relax and take it all in. I prefer to work in a documentary style, which means I aim to take candid photos of you and your guests. I will give you a little direction but never force you into any unnatural poses, the magic will happen, I promise.

What about the family portrait photos?

I do take traditional family pictures in addition to the more lifestyle documentary style wedding photography. While they may not be as exciting as some of our more informal images, I do appreciate the value behind the traditional family portrait. I always suggest around 10 set group photos to keep the day and fun flowing.
